GNOSS Guide for... networkers
Relationships, collaborative work, shared interests and… privacy too. GNOSS is an environment where learning can be accelerated, an inclusive space where you can establish and define your relationships based on professional interests. You can work in GNOSS and do networking.

1. Make yourself visible and share content
Your best business card is the profile that you present in GNOSS. Besides your professional biography, you may want to show your friend list. But if you let us recommend you something, you should take care of your 'portfolio' of resources. There you could show the content of the projects you've worked on or you're involved in, your best articles or a selection of what you read. It’s your choice: it can be a private website or your best business card.

Perhaps you don't know a very interesting option that GNOSS offers: you can edit as many biographical profiles as you want and use them in different communities. It's not the same to show your business skills in the community of Emprendedores (Entrepreneurs) than to offer your services as a professional in Innova or Nextweb.
You can enable all these visibility options from 'Edit profile'.

2. Choose your contacts
We suggest you to visit the list of 'Communities'. There you'll find all the virtual spaces proposed by all the users who share their resources in GNOSS. Within each community, specialized in a particular subject, you can see which users are taking part in it and which ones are the most active. You will likely find people that interest you and users you can share files or information with. GNOSS allows you to add them as contacts. When you do so, the person will be notified that you want to join his/her contact group. This is the beginning of your collaboration with people that have things in common in GNOSS.
Maybe you already know who you want to contact in GNOSS. To find people quickly, search in the list of 'People and organizations'.
If you think that none of the communities fits your professional interests or the area where your contacts work, you can make us a proposal of a new community. Then, you will be able to invite to it as many people as you want.

3. Work your contacts
The message service allows you to connect with anyone you like, but you may need to work your contacts harder, for example, within the communities you're more interested in. The quality of the content that you upload can turn you into a reference user for your friends and help you to get more contacts.
One last suggestion: join the conversation, add comments. You can vote the resources and in this way build a reputation among the members of your community..
