The International Society for Intelligence Research was founded in 2000 as a focal scientific society for researchers in human intelligence. The society's Journal Intelligence publishes definitive, high-impact work on the key issues in intelligence, its causes and consequences. The Society hosts an annual meeting for the presentation and discussion of novel research in areas as diverse as the structure of ability, its social correlates, and the basic neuroscience, biochemistry and genetics of intelligence, as well as links to developmental, educational, geriatric study and the fields of anthropology and evolutionary psychology.
